Hand-crafted in Rajasthan, this fabric-woven mirror charm draws on the century’s old shisha mirror work; traditionally worn to reflect away the ‘evil eye’ and bad luck, and to call in light, protection and blessings with every glint.

Each time the Talisman catches the light, let it serve as a gentle reminder to return to self and let anything that isn’t yours simply bounce off.

The people of Rajasthan are known for their colourful clothing, much of it stitched with tiny mirrors. Known as shisha mirror work, these luminous circles are traditionally believed to deflect ‘nazar’ (evil eye) by reflecting bad luck or heavy energies away from the wearer and back into the light.

The round mirror is encased in hand-stitched vibrant blue to wear as your personal protector on your travels, either on your bag, tucked away within, on your keys, hung by your door, on your altar or on your Christmas tree.

Use this modern amulet by pausing for a moment before you leave the house, glance at the mirror and silently set a intention. “I move through the day protected, grounded, bright and light”. Tradition says the mirror will reflect negativity away; we invite you to let it reflect your own radiance back to you.

A way to keep you surrounded by auspicious light, our Mirror Talisman honours the tradition in a modern, portable format.

Ritual

Set an intention: before you clip this onto your keys or bag, hold the mirror in your palm, take a few breaths and quietly name what you wish to magnify and what you wish to release into the light.
