Benefits of Amla Oil

One of the main reasons amla oil is so popular for therapeutic and ayurvedic medicines, as well as in self care rituals is because of the fruits high levels of concentrated vitamin C, nutrients and other antioxidants. These powerful ingredients mean amla oil can be used for all manner of rituals, including in supplements, hair care or directly on the skin. The fruit of the amla tree is also one of the world's most powerful antioxidants, making it an ideal ingredient to protect your hair and skin against dryness, pollution and other environmental aggressors, as well as delivering a dose of much needed nutrients in the form of supplements.

How is Amla Oil made?

To release this 100% organic yet powerful substance, the amla tree fruits are first laid out to dry. Traditionally this is done under the heat of the Indian sun, ensuring no beneficial nutrients are lost in the process. After the fruits have been completely dried, they are soaked in a carrier oil such as coconut or sesame seed oils. These are the most popular carrier oils as they are all natural and encourage the amla fruits to release their own oils into the mixture. Once this has been completed, other powerful ingredients are added to enhance its effectiveness. This is where Mauli Rituals stands ahead of the rest, with the addition of petals, herbs and extracts to fortify the blend and bring the amla oil to life, making our truly unique product.

How to use Amla Oil

1. Amla Hair Oil

One of the most direct and concentrated ways to benefit from the powerful nutrients of the amla fruit is through our Grow Strong Hair Oil. Our unique formulation of all natural herbs, petals and extracts only serves to enhance the organic properties of the amla oil in our products. • If you find your delicate strands are feeling a little dehydrated, brittle and in need of a deeply conditioning treatment, our Grow Strong Hair Oil can be used as a nourishing hair mask. Using the dropper tool, gently massage 2-3 drops of Grow Strong Hair Oil into your scalp, slowly working the oil through to your tips for each section. If you are looking for a quick hair mask treatment, leave in for 2 hours. This allows your strands ample time to fully absorb our unique blend of ingredients and soak in all of its benefits. Alternatively, if your hair is feeling particularly thirsty, you can leave your amla oil hair mask overnight by simply covering your pillow with a towel. Finish off your ritual by shampooing and conditioning your hair as normal and enjoying your beautifully hydrated locks.
